I'm taking part in (yet) another inchie swap. yes I'm officially obsessed with inchies! this one has an asia theme and this is what I've come up with. it's quite sparkly, but I'm not sure the picture captures that.

Today was the closing date for the hat inchies. Here is one from each person that I received them from. I'm not sure if I have everyone's in yet as the post has been disastrous recently, so if you know you've sent me some but they aren't here, please let me know. I think I will wait a couple of days anyway.

in the tooth fairy?
my eldest son's first molar fell out today. He's hoping that as it's a molar the tooth fairy will leave a bit more than usual. so I made him this box, in the hope that the tooth fairy will be impressed and be generous with him. He asked me if I thought the tooth fairy would take the box as he wants to use it for all his teeth that come out. awwww!

(I have it on good authority that the tooth fairy is more generous with molars ;) )

and in case you are wondering, it's not a black and white photograph, they are the actual colours.

inchies - new swap announced

I've decided to announce the theme for the next swap, even though the hat inchies are still ongoing.
The new theme is "Trees" as always you can interpret this however you want to.
If you want to take part email me for my address, if I don't answer straightaway don't worry. I will be offline next week (I'll be reading the new Harry Potter, lol).

rules as always are make 9 keep one for yourself and send 8 to me with an SAE

the closing date is 30th August, so there is plenty of time for this one.

I quickly made this inchie to represent the theme, but this may not be one of my actual ones.

As I've used a lot of stamping on this I've also entered it into Wednesday Stamper's open theme

for Nicole - does my bum look big in this?

I have made this as part of a circle of friends thing for Nicole, to add to a book she is making.
I downloaded this image from someone's blog. and now I can't remember who. and I really want to credit the person it's from. I feel really bad for using it and not crediting it to them. so if anyone recognises it please let me know. I'd be really grateful.

TMTA Asia

This is the first time I've taken part in TMTA, but I needed to do some alcohol inked ATCs for a swap so I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone. The background is alcohol inks smooshed together between a plastic wallet. All the stamps are PaperArtsy. I love this oriental woman, but she is very pointy, so I do feel the need to give her something to point at, in this case I've gone for a star.

In order to feed my ever growing addiction to inchies I have joined another swap. The theme is blue and white. I know the theme was originally blue and white alice, but there was concern that not everyone would have alice stuff. but I do and I love alice images.
so I hope this is okay.
