This week's challenge at
One Layer Wednesday is "barely there" and the challenge is to use a bare tree.
Unbelievably I actually have very few bare tree stamps. This one is a paperbag studio one that I've had for ages! The quote is from
Scrolls Work. I stamped the tree in cosmic copper brilliance ink and the quote in versafine black. I then shaded the corners of the quote box, which seems to somehow lift it off the card, don't ask me to explain how!
It's lovely Joanne - really pretty.

Fabulous. Looooove that it's only one layer, but has so much interest. AND... I finally got my issue of CS, and your article is fantastic. What a great collage technique, I will definitely be making some cards using yours as inspiration in the coming weeks. Thanks for sharing! ;)

When I saw your card I thought two things - "Wow, that's stunning" and "Hey, I have both those stamps too". Love what you did with them.
