less is more- off centre
An easy-peasy challenge this week at less is more, all you have to do is make something "off centre". However, that's almost too easy..... where to start?? Well it's such a gorgeous spring day today that I felt that I just had to start with this lovely quote. Then I decided to add some leaves... but then a strange thing happened, I had an urge to revisit a technique that I haven't done for ages...chalking... mostly because I just didn't have the right shade of green ink to stamp the leaves, lol. I stamped the leaves in versamark ink and used three shades of green chalk applied with a cotton wool ball. I finished with some spring flower soft.
All of the stamps are available from Scrolls work stamps
The quote (springtime #1607)
the leaves (vine #45305)
Really lovely card!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card - using the chalks has given the leaves a really subtle tone and the flower soft is pure magic
