it's one layer week at Less is more, with the theme "in the frame" One of the way to get around the flatness of one layer cards, is to think about instead of adding stuff think about taking it away. This Stampotique stamp was perfect for the theme, and i decided to cut away the background to make the little guy really standout. To make him stand out further I added some colour to the inside of the card by sectioning of a piece, brayering on some colour, and then stamping a splatter stamp. The image is coloured with pencils and I have added some grey shadow around the frame to try to lift it. The "whatever" word, just seemd so perfect to use for this little guy.
I am happily married with two wonderful sons. I work full-time as a radiographer. I like to make stuff. Cardmaking, knitting, crochet. I'll try anything crafty.I also have an unhealthy love of maths: I did a degree for fun.
I post on my blog in the hope that I will inspire others to create. I am more than happy for you to be inspired by anything I post, and make it your own. Likewise, I get inspiration from all sorts of sources including the blogs of other crafters, although I would never knowingly directly copy another's work I visit so many blogs I pick up inspiration all over the place. Please know that if you are in my blog lists then you inspire me.
