This project was completely inspired by the
Paperartsy Mini sewing background stamp. I made the bag from some oddments of fabric that I had. The yo yo flower is so easy to make and you don't need any special equipment.
To make a yo yo flower, simply cut a circle roughly twice the diameter of the required flower (draw round a saucer). With the wrong side facing you turn a small hem towards you and hold in place with a simple running thread, all the way around. pull up thread and fasten off. finish with a large button.
The main image is also a Paperartsy Mini.
I am entering this for
Wednesday Stamper's "mixed media" challenge

ReplyDeleteGreat bag! I love the idea of stamping it!!! (I'll try this when I get my stamps out again... they are put away until I have a bit more space and time for them). Also, I picked up yarn today for the next couple of projects, so stay tuned. A pattern will be coming your way before long. Have a great trip, by the way!
