I originally started making this for the
tag it on challenge which is "up, up and away", but somewhere along the way I forgot that was making a tag and it turned into a card. The stamp is from
The Artistic Stamper. The background is done using the technique
Jo showed in this month's craft stamper. I have used real dried flowers on this card so I have attached it to the back of the acetate with eyelets to protect them.
I am also sending this in for the current
Art Raffle theme.
Don't forget it's Day three of
PaperArtsy's 12 day of christmas with lots of samples and a giveaway, don't miss out!
lovely card - that technique that Jo did is pretty nifty.

lovely Joanne. worked really well specially with the addition of the dried flowers.
ReplyDeletelol, I started playing around with Jo's technique yesterday, I have a couple of backgrounds waiting to be made into something.
ReplyDeleteLove the card Joanne, the dried flowers are a lovely touch.
Well it made a Better card than tag, Love how its on acetate and the real flowers are so lovely, Beautifully done Joanne!
ReplyDeleteI looked at this and thought 'oooo this looks really layered, just my kinda thing'...then saw my name mentioned and was really pleased you'd tried it out.
ReplyDeleteI love cards that started life as a tag- the tag part always looks so packed with thought and decisions that the space of acetate or white card that its mounted onto gives it a chance to stand alone and look less intense. Looks fab, good move.
Reading that back I sound like the drunk propping up the bar talking waffle, sorry about that, I hope you understood what I was trying to say. Its been a long day lol.
This is really nice. I love the dried flowers on the card. Very talented!
