I decided to have another bash at
One Layer Wednesday, where the theme this week is Trees. As luck would have it I just got
this fab set of christmas stamps from
Crafty Individuals.
I still find one layer cards difficult as there is no room for mistakes (that's not to say there are no mistakes on this card. there are some!)
I stamped the tree with crushed olive distress ink and the star in barn door. I would say this would be good for quick christmas cards.... if it didn't take so darn long!
Simple and festive - just lovely!
ReplyDeletei might be tempted to make Christmas cards again with such a lovely simple design Joanne!

ReplyDeletelol well theres a challenge for me too, making very few noticable mistakes lol
ReplyDeleteThis does look gorgeous though, really does.
Yes, it does look simple, but I totally understand the time it takes! (Of course, when I have to redo my card 3-4 times because I smear the ink it's gonna take time! LOL) Looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab layout! Love how you overlapped the sentiment...placement is perfect! Also that stamp is so festive!
ReplyDeletePretty card! Love the pops of red of the stars!
