What a lovely surprise I had today to receive some new stamps from
Crafty Individuals through the post. Of course I had to play straightaway, and as I had the
One Layer Wednesday Challenge (just stamps and ink) and
St Lukes Charity Challenge (black white and one other colour) on my mind I thought I'd play with them too.
This first card if for both challenges and really couldn't be easier, but I kind of like it
The second card isn't for any challenge, but was just playing. I handwrote the words over the words on the stamp, to make them jump out. and added some random dots of stickles. (I will be sending this to the st Lukes appeal along with all my spare cards at the moment.)
Afternoon Joanne - you're quick off the mark. An elegant CAS card for both challenges - she's rather lovely! Thanks for supporting and playing along with St Luke's Charity Card Challenge.
ReplyDeleteLove the elephant tree card!
Wow - a first card in so quick - thanks Joanne. I love this elegant lady stamp and its a great take on both our challenge and OLW. I love your other card too - great idea to write in the tree - I think we get so caught up with stamps that we forget we can just WRITE things simply sometimes.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for playing in our colour challenge this month and for sending some cards to the hospice - they will be greatly received.
