Tea Towel Tote

Uh-oh! a new obsession! shopping for tea towels! No I haven't suddenly discovered the joy of housework, far from it, I have dicovered Tea Towel Totes. I saw these on Monkee Makers blog and followed the link to some fantastic instructions. I ordered some twill tape from ebay, hunted out some cute tea towels (tesco), et voila!
This took me an hour, it's so easy (although I must work on getting my sewing a bit straighter!)

I need more tea towels!!!

    Great for the summer to throw bits and bobs into when you're out and about. I saw them on MM's blog too (shes so funny). These would sell really well at the May/summer fete I reckon Joanne.This is fab...great presents. I have a great PG Tips Monkey tea towel which would be brilliant as one lol

    that's what you call a "really useful bag" they'd make great presents becaues you can get so many different themes on them. Great sewing Joanne!!

    Hurrah!! Another TTT convert! They're fab aren't they? Yours is so pretty, I obviously need to get myself to Tesco pronto! I find myself scouring shops for tea towels now .... Simon's really happy as he thinks I'll finally knuckle down to the housework ... mwah ha ha ha, as if!!

    ps. I hadn't thought about getting the twill tape from ebay (probably because I didn't know that's what it was called!), thanks for the tip, as I shall obviously be needing LOADS more!
