This week's Challenge at Gingersnap is the final week of Cornish Heritage farms month. I received this horse and rider stamp which is a new release from Cornish.
I stamped it with walnut stain distress ink onto cream card, then used a wet paint brush to pull the colour from the image to create shading. This stamp worked brilliantly with this technique and I love the effect. I finished the card with raffia, a skeleton leaf and mulberry paper to tie in with "using items from nature" that has been the overall theme for this month at gingersnap.

ReplyDeleteI love how you used the walnut ink with this stamp. Pulling the ink from the stamp for shading is inspired! It turned out amazing! Love the natural touches of the leaf, mulberry paper and rafia.
