OLW: home sweet home
The challenge at One Layer Wednesday this week is to make a new home card with two different coloured inks. straightforward enough......? no! I really struggled with this but thought I'd post what I came up with anyway..http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
I used crushed olive and spun sugar through a clevercut mask for the background. I used a paperartsy Mini stamp and a bit of doodling with a handwritten sentiment

ReplyDeletep.s your background looks like fireworks going off, fabulous LOL
Joanne - it's great - I do like the house stamps - very different!!
ReplyDeleteI love this. It is very whimsical. I see those flowers are puffy clouds, but I love that someone else saw them as fireworks. It is adorable, and gets your imagination going.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty...I love house stamps of any sort, and the background of two colours is very delicate xx

ReplyDeleteHi, Joanne :) Lovely to meet you today! This card is fab, and I've just been reading through all those issues of Craft Stamper I bought today and finding your articles (and loving them all, naturally!) x
ReplyDeleteWhat cute little "houses"!! Adorable card!
ReplyDeleteLove that sprinkle of images through the background - and they way it contrasts with the line image. Cool!
