One layer wednesday : border stamps

I was inspired by Mustavcoffee to take part in the One layer Wednesday Challenge 17
Rules for OLW17 1. A one-layer card is defined as a single piece of cardstock folded in half. 2. Use a border stamp (or, if you don't have a border stamp, either create one by repeating a small stamp or consider this an excuse to go buy one!) Remember to keep embellishments to a minimum.

OMG how hard was this? I ruined 4 (yes four!!) perfectly good card blanks trying to get this right, and I'm still not happy with it, but after using after that much card I felt I should submit it! lol

The Stamps are by PaperArtsy, the quote is from one of the new Hotpicks stamps HP1008, and the border stamp is from a borders set.

  7. I think it's great, Joanne. VERY difficult to make simple cards - they always take me much longer than anything else I do, lol - the design has to be perfect or they don't work! You've done a great job of it.
